New hobby idea: Suitcase Train!

Yep, i found a new idea to play with after a post i saw on instagram! Because i do not have enough space in my house to build a big railroad in H0 with a beautifull diorama i thought this would be a great option!

I never knew this scale was available so i will be building it on Z scale. Märklin is the only manufacturer of trains on this scale so choice is not to great, but on the diorama side much can be found or maybe built by yourself. Z scale is 1:220 so many fiddly bits for my big hands.

Step 1: Get a suitcase!

Done! On our local marketplace (marktplaats) there were some options to get a classic suitcase for not much money. Someone nearby was selling one so done deal! Step 1 complete!

Next up will be to restore the suitcase a little bit (cleanup etc.), make plans for a trainroute (i will keep ik super simple for now) and start collecting and building! To start with i will use a Marklin Z starterset with train, rails, controller etc. Just to make a start. Also some extra rail to fill the case will be used. And the rest? We will see!
